Clarise was born in Alice Springs in 1993, and grew up in Kanip, APY lands about 20km South of the Northern Territory Border.

Clarise's paintings depict " Malilu" a Pitjantjatjara ancestral creation figure. She comes from a highly recognised family in the Aboriginal art Scene, her mother being Teressa Baker and great Grandfather was Jimmy Baker 9 c.1915 - 2010)

She began painting in 2012 and was represented in the 2015 and 2016 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Art Awards.
