George Hairbrush Tjungurrayi

One of the early and original artists of the Aboriginal art movement begun in Papunya, George began painting his own works in 1976.   Mentored by Nosepeg Tjupurrula, one of the founding artists of the Papunya art movement and a leading identity, George has become a highly collectable artist, and voted one of the "50 Most Collectable Artists" by Australian Art Collector magazine.  Learn more about George in his bio.
