As written by Kerry ~ "This painting depicts my husband, Allen's people, the Woolwonga people, who were nearly shot out of extinction by settlers in 1884. The large rough shapes in the background tells of his ancestors being led into the billabongs on his country, the smaller circles represent his people falling into the billabongs where they were shot all those years ago".
